It seems like it would be fairly easy to bump up those damage numbers to balance out different builds. I crafted or reforged to get all Fire Damage on my Mage, and it helped a bit. The other change that would help is increasing the damage from the new "special" damage types (e.g., Fire Damage) that can be crafted into the new gear pieces. I can't believe that it was the Dev's intention that everyone would use the same two trinkets they just need more testing to balance out trinket damage. They could add higher % damage and/or more frequent procs to make them more competitive. These trinkets are underpowered compared to CoWS and ToS, which almost everyone is using. I am thinking that a buff to fire trinkets (Talisman of Pyromaniac and Brooch of Purifying Flames) would help balance out the damage. +1 I am still in lower trials but switched to fire-build mage because I got a BoM for Fireball and Igniter's Sash. I don't know about warriors and bounty hunters but I'm sure there's small possible tweaks here and there. This may be going too far but Fire Lily and the elemental ones could be adjusted to be worth chasing. It's sad to try the deflect belt (why does it have to penalize armor even?), the deflect skill and the FoK set only to find out it still doesn't do anything (except maybe get you killed). Quickest solution I can think of: twice the effect for your points. The point is more variety in the leader boards. Other experimental builds like the DFA thing above. Improved recovery time would slightly benefit:Īrcanist builds running it (I'm not, but just saying.) So maybe after 99 stacks Combustion could reset itself resolving all pending dmg 100*(500% to 1000%dmg)*(1 to 6sec). Mono-fire is a fun build that only needs a little push to be competitive (I can beat TL 127 with decent equipment).Ĭombustion stacks could really do 1000% dmg instead of 500%, they do not constitute a quick method anyway.Īnother thing is that they stack infinitely causing a hilarious amount of lag vs bosses. I'm thinking of things that are most likely fixed just by changing a number in the code somewhere:
